However, Mount Abu, with a certain elevated altitude, provides a rather cool climate. The hill station is situated at the banks of the Nakki Lake. The scenic beauty conveys the bounty blessings that were once bestowed by the Goddess of Nature. The tranquil lake, the steep rocks and above all the favorable climate is what makes travelers crave for the place. The festive season at Mount Abu is characterized by the display of the exotic culture of Rajasthan. The festival starts with the singing of folk songs and popular ballads. The singers are accompanied by traditional instruments like Kamaicha.T he folk dances where women in Ghaghara , with white glass bangles to their shoulders and men in colorful turbans, just add color to the festive season. Games like tug of war, horse racing, skating are held. The Nakki Lake becomes the favorite spot for boat racing and the barren land starts getting decorated. Famous Qawali singers from all over the country gather to sing at the musical extravaganza, Sham-e-qawali. No doubt Rajasthan Tourism provides a great support &amp; inspiration to organize this festival, in order to add the overall vibrancy.
