Are you curious about a Land Rover adventure? Then come along for an epic expedition where you will conquer Sandakphu’s magnificent peaks and trekking trails!
The journey starts with an exhilarating drive through scenic hues of green pines until you reach the majestic 3600-meter peak.
Sandakphu, located in the Darjeeling district of West Bengal, is renowned for its spectacular peaks. Perched at an altitude of 3600 meters, it has been dubbed ‘The Toughest Trekking Destination in West Bengal, India.
After embarking on a journey in share or private car from New Jalpaiguri / Bagdogra / Siliguri, you will first stop at Manebhanjan. Its the base point for the trip. Here you need to board on Landrover car. From here, you’ll depart for your Three-days excursion to Sandakphu – an experience not to be missed! This journey will take you through stunning terrain with its playful peaks and pristine valleys before culminating upon that majestic summit as well as Sandakphu’s majestic peak.
Day 1 involves traveling from Manebhanjan to Tumling via Chitrey. You will have a stop for the day in Tumling. Lunch and dinners will be arranged here in the homestay.
On the second day, we commence our exploration towards Sandakphu. We will start after breakfast from Tumling. On the way we will pass through Kalipokhri. This journey will take you through stunning terrain with its playful peaks and pristine valleys before culminating upon that majestic summit. On reaching to Aal through Sandakphu, you will be served with lunch in the homestay. Then you can rest or explore the area. You can visit the sun rise / Sun set view points. Dinner and overnight sleep to be followed accordingly.
Our final day in this region allows for sun rise view from the view point. After Breakfast you can start your descend journey towards Manebhanjan.
If you have extra days in your hand, you must visit Phalut, which is a pure adventure trip. It will be charged extra. You have to book well in advance for Phalut trip. So that you can experience one more night in Phalut. From there next day you can descend towards Manebhanjan.
As you traverse the verdant valleys, ascend the rocky slopes of soaring peaks and descend through the deep forests of Sandakphu, the exhilaration will be palpable!
Day 1: Manebhanjan to Tumling in Land rover. Night stay.
Day 2: Tumling to Sandakphu Aal via Kalipokhri.
Day 3: Aal to Manebhanjan drop.
For the duration of this adventure, you will be staying in home stays or lodges, on a sharing basis Starting from day 1 to day 3. This package has triple or quad sharing as the default room sharing.
We’ll provide Non Veg / Veg meals on all days of the trip. Starting from day 1 lunch to day 3 breakfast. Meals include – Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
If a trip is called off at the last moment due to a natural calamity/unforeseen circumstances (like rains, earthquake, landslides, strike, bandh etc), Desi Nomadz will issue a trek voucher for the full amount. The voucher can be redeemed for the same trek or another trek in the next one year. In case you wish to cancel your trek please e-mail us at support@desinomadz.com. Cancellation requests are not taken over phone. The cancellation charges are as under: Cancellations prior to 30 days from the start of the trek — full refund. Cancellation between 30 days and 20 days to the start of the trek — 50% refund. Cancellation less than 20 days to the start of the trek — no refund. Please note: If service purchased with a voucher code, then voucher amount will be deducted from deposit amount while refund to customer. In case of refund, there will be a deduction of bank charges (if applicable) from the total fee you have paid. Also, if you have opted for a trek insurance, the amount will not be refunded.
