How To Reach Kheerganga (Khir Ganga Trek Routes) :

There are three different possible routes that can be taken from Barshaini to reach Kheerganga.

  • Through Nakthan and Rudranag :This 13 km trek is ideal for those who wish to capture some breathtaking scenery. The Nakthan trail begins at the bridge across from Barshaini; traverse left along the Parvati river and reach Kheerganga within 3-4 hours depending on one’s hiking speed! This is undoubtedly the most popular path to tackle when venturing towards Kheerganga.
  • Through Kalga (15 km): The comparatively underutilized Kheerganga Trek through Kalga village is an intriguing option for travelers looking to traverse the region. This mode of transport transverses dense forested areas before arriving at this secluded village situated on the right side of a bridge in Barshaini, and it is recommended that you explore this route with care as it may be surrounded by unfamiliar elements.
  • Through Tosh Village: For those who made a detour to Tosh Village and stayed the night, this itinerary provides an alternative route for reaching Kheerganga.
