Trekkers can choose between a full or half-day trek to visit these sites.

Nestled in the invigorating embrace of captivating Indian Himalayan slopes in Uttarakhand, Kedarnath Badrinath trip is the epicenter for Hindus across India’s vast expanse of territories for spiritual endeavors.

kedarnath badrinath trip desinomadzAccording to the Hindus, the Char Dham Yatra opens an opportunity for salvation by washing away indefinitely all transgressions and sins. These holy places have an incredible significance in Hindu mythologies; this particular narrative recounts how Adi Shankaracharya gained access to resurrection at Shri Badrinath Dham as well as how Gangotri is a vital destination on one’s path towards divine redemption after inducting pilgrims into Yamunotri first. Ultimately, visitors must make it to Kedarnath lastly Badrinatth before concluding with their final pilgrimage at Shri Adi Shankaracharyas shrine – place of sanctification known as Badrinath! This yatra is an activity in the quest for the fourth goal – Moksha.

About Kedarnath Temple

Nestled atop a lofty plateau encircled by towering snow-capped peaks and glacial fields, Kedarnath Temple is one of the most venerated spiritual sites in India dedicated to lord Shiva. Constructed from stone with an awe-inspiring architectural style that dates back to 8th century AD it sits at a lofty elevation of 3,583 meters above sea level.

In summer months, visitors can only access the shrine of Kedarnath for a particular duration – from May through to Kartik Purnima within one calendar year. This essentially makes it one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples that dot across India – and its majestic presence set against scenic views such as those provided by nearby Kedar Dome Peak are truly captivating.

About Shri Badrinath Temple

badrinath temple desinomadzAlso referred to as Badrinarayan Temple, this edifice is dedicated to the supreme form of Lord Vishnu known as Badrinarayan. Located along the banks of Alaknanda River in a verdant hill station nestled amidst scenic mountainscapes, its tranquil atmosphere radiates an invigorating sense of spiritual well-being.

Nestled in the midst of majestic mountains from both sides and adorning the majestic Neelkanth peak – arguably one of Nepal’s most awe-inspiring peaks – this temple closely resembles a Buddhist shrine. Its design is distinctly reminiscent of those found throughout Asia, conforming to their construction style. The temple is divided into three main parts – the sanctum (Garbhagriha), convention hall and Darshan hall. The holy shrine of Badrinath is one among the 108 holy places for Vaishnavites and is opened only for six months (end of April to beginning of November) every year.

Alongside the main shrine of Badrinath, pilgrims can seek grace from Goddess Mahalakshmi in a secluded chamber of the parikrama area. There is also an inviting Tapt Kund (hot spring) located just on the banks of Alaknanda River that visitors must visit prior to visiting Badrinach Temple – a wondrous juxtaposition between arid and chilly environs that dazzles all those who behold it!

On way to Kedarnath dham
