Samandin is a beautiful small village in Darjiling. The village is so picturesque that it has been used as a film set for many travel documentaries. The village is surrounded by green hills and has a river running through it. The villagers are very friendly and welcoming. They have a strong sense of community and are always ready to help each other out. If you want to stay relaxing weekend you can easily spend two nights here.
