Pin Valley is a remote valley located in the Spiti district of Himachal Pradesh, India. It is situated at an altitude of around 3,500 to 6,000 meters above sea level and is surrounded by high mountain ranges, glaciers, and snow-capped peaks.

The Pin Valley is named after the Pin River that flows through it. The valley is home to the Pin Valley National Park, which is spread over an area of about 675 square kilometers and was established in 1987. The park is known for its diverse flora and fauna, including rare and endangered species like the snow leopard, ibex, and Siberian ibex.

The Pin Valley is also home to several Buddhist monasteries and temples, including the Kungri Monastery, which is one of the oldest and largest in the valley. The monastery is believed to have been founded in the 14th century and is known for its beautiful architecture and intricate murals.

The Pin Valley can be accessed by road from the nearby towns of Kaza and Manali. The best time to visit the valley is from June to September, when the weather is pleasant and the valley is accessible. However, the valley remains snowbound during the winter months and is inaccessible due to heavy snowfall.
